Hector Patino Psy.D.
Dr. Patino received his Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology with a concentration in neuropsychology from an American Psychological Association (APA) accredited program at Albizu University in Miami, Florida. His training inculded emphasis on multicultural implications on mental health, relationships, and identity. He completed his APA accredited clinical internship at Nassau University Medical Center (NUMC) in East Meadow, New York. His experience in Long Island provided extensive training in psychodynamic treatment and psychoanlytic conceptualization. Dr. Patino completed his post-doctoral fellowship at University of Central Florida (UCF) Center for Counseling and Psychological services. In this capacity, he provided psychotherapy and crisis intervention to students emerging into adulthood. His time at UCF allowed for working with international students as they encountered the adjustment difficulties of living in a new country away from home.
